The tradition of this unique pub dates back to 1803, when the old Sachsenhausen apple wine aristocracy established its good reputation here, which we – without forgetting the tradition – revive with our contemporary interpretation of the “Frankfurter-Apfelwein-Wirtschaft”. Guests should feel “at home” with us, like good friends, and enjoy our Hessian cuisine. The cuisine is not impressive because of its mass, but because of the attention to detail in the wonderfully hearty, almost cheerful appetisers. The foundation of the “Lorsbacher Tal” is also the foundation of our apple ambitions; in huge vaults with historic wooden barrels and modern tanks, our home-pressed house wines ferment, mature and are stored, as well as many rarities from all over the world.
