The Norwegian Cider Route – Western Norway

In the last 10 years, Norway, especially Western Norway with Hardanger at the forefront, has gained a number of interesting sider producers. From Rogaland and Ryfylke in the south to Hardanger, Sogn and Møre og Romsdal, you will now find inviting apple farms with sider production.

Most of them sell their produce at Vinmonopolet and in their farm shops. You can buy both apple juice and cider in the farm shops. You can savour the taste of the pure products during various tastings offered by the farms. Several also offer walks through the orchard and experiences combining food and cider.

We have divided the route into 4 regions:
