The experience of many generations (more than 200 years) and our own efforts in planting apple trees and selecting the apples, has led us to achieve today our own harvest with the following characteristics: a cider with a lot of strength, more aroma and flavour. Being, at the same time, a smooth and easy to drink cider. With only 6% alcohol by volume.

For many years our efforts have been aimed at achieving a cider made exclusively with local apples and, in fact, we have now achieved it. Nowadays, our cider is, when the harvest allows it, 100% made with apples from Gipuzkoa. It is worth mentioning the project we have undertaken to make organic cider with the farmhouse’s own apple trees. R.ZABALA SAGASTIGITZA takes care of all this and more: planting, maintenance, care and attention to the farmhouse’s own apple orchards.
