Langen Dormouse Project

As the home town of the Ebbelwoifest, Langen feels particularly committed to the preservation of meadow orchards.

This includes the conception and marketing of the “Siebenschläfer” product range, together with the local cider route members.

Cider, apple cider, jellies, blossom honey and even chocolates are part of the locally available range. Part of the proceeds goes directly to the care of meadow orchards.

Events such as the “Siebenschläfer-Maimarkt”, lectures, harvesting campaigns and environmental education projects in schools and day-care centres provide information about the valuable habitat.
