Wonderful nature, sights and pubs where you can enjoy a glass of “Gerippten” or find out more about the culture of apples – that’s what the Hessian Cider and Fruit Region has to offer.
Participants include wine press houses, restaurants, direct marketers, fruit and horticultural associations, nature conservation initiatives, museums and municipalities. In five regional loops, about 700 partners are involved in local recreation, nature conservation and the promotion of the regional economy. The aim is to protect a typical part of Hessen and make it an experience.
The FrankfurtRhineMain Regional Association took over the Hessian Apple Wine and Orchard Route 2020 on its 25th anniversary. The magazine “Der Apfelbote” reports on news from the regional loops.
