At the age of just 15, he learnt the art of cider-making from his grandfather. Johannes Döringer, born in 1967 in Frankfurt am Main. Since then, he has been driven by a passion to create new and exciting flavour combinations every year. He combines different ingredients, tastes and refines them. He keeps tasting until he finds the perfect flavour.

A flavour for which he has already received several prizes and awards at tastings. Apple Wine King of Oberursel 2016 and 2019.

His heart beats faster in autumn. That is when 450 trees are inspected and harvested. It is no easy craft, yet one that Jockel Döringer practises with great passion.
