For over 70 years, almost everything at Dürr Fruchtsäfte has revolved around apples and pears. Behind the forest, there are still many unspoilt orchards with old and heritage fruit varieties. This is the very stuff from which the popular Moschd (cider) is pressed. And as always, only what is lived on survives. And before all the beautiful orchard meadows have disappeared and only supermarket fruit remains, the Hinterm-Wald rebels have set about saving this ancient culture. Today, with ‘Rohrspatz Cider’ and ‘Schneewittchen Cidre’, they are among the most renowned German producers, having won numerous international awards.
