The FrankfurtRhineMain Regional Association, as a central player, works together with many active people to promote orchards in our region. The aim is to ensure that the meadows are preserved for future generations as a source of identification, recreation and food.

Orchard meadows characterise the Hessian cultural landscape and provide the raw material for our cider. They are managed in a nature-friendly way and are characterised by great biodiversity and high ecological value.

The Regional Association supports its member municipalities with expertise, creative ideas, commitment and better networking to preserve existing orchard stands.
