Skarbø Gard

On the Skarbø farm we build on long traditions and solid artisanry to create unforgettable taste experiences.

Nestled by the Storfjord in Sunnmøre, the Skarbø farm has existed since the Viking age, and is run by 8^th generation Kristine and Carlos Ruiz-Skarbø.

We strive to run the farm in a truly sustainable manner. Our organic orchards count 4000 trees and 25 varieties. The ciders – pressed, fermented and bottled on site – are wholly natural products, spontaneously fermented and sulphite free.

The Skarbø farm also has a herd of dairy cows, and we produce artisan cheese to accompany the cider.
