Alexander Saalfrank

My name is Alexander Saalfrank and I come from Frankfurt. I was also born here in 1964, so I’m ‘en eschte Frankfodder Bubb’.

However, I now work in Cologne as a sales manager for a wine importer. Twice a year, I have also been a table leader on the jury of the Berlin Wine Trophy for over 16 years.

In my private life, however, I also enjoy drinking apple cider, which I was socialised with, and I even produce my own small batch of cider from my own apples every year.

I came to your tasting on the recommendation of Klaus Hermann from Wein+Markt, whom I have known for a long time from the BWT and other blind tastings.
