My name is Natalia, I have a doctorate in pharmacy and I currently live in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. And I am a cider lover. If you had asked me about cider a few years ago, I would have told you that cider is most likely a type of beer flavoured with apple juice. A lot has changed in my life since then. I discovered cider and developed a passion for this exciting drink, started reading about cider making, learnt about apple varieties, styles and how they typically taste in different parts of the world. I fell in love and decided that I wanted to spread my passion for cider and cider making.
Unfortunately, it is still quite a challenge to find good cider in this part of Europe. However, this is slowly changing! Cider makers from countries other than the UK, France or Spain can make a really good cider. So my aim is to research ciders from different European countries, share my opinion on cider and raise awareness of the cider available mainly in Europe.
By visiting cider bars, cider shops and cider makers, as well as attending cider festivals across Europe, being present on social media and getting your feedback, I aim to promote cider culture and raise awareness of high quality cider.
