Walther – The Family Cidery in Bruchköbel
The winery was founded in 1934 and celebrated its 90th anniversary last year with a big open day.
Managing Director Ralf Walther, his sister Andrea, his wife Britta and their two sons, Tim and Louis, personally look after products from the region for the region.
As a family winery, we do everything we can to meet the consumer’s desire for high-quality and safe food. This is not easy in a time of fierce competition, because costs and benefits must also be reconciled for us. We are allowed to label our products with the “Geprüfte Qualität – HESSEN” quality seal. The apples we press come exclusively from orchards in the immediate vicinity. We are also BIO certified.
The specifications are constantly monitored and safeguarded as part of a comprehensive quality assurance system, so that the high quality, safety and origin of the products can be proven from the producer to the store counter. Our assortment ranges from various types of cider, some of which are stored in rum barrels, to apple juice, various other juices and a large number of Gadde-Limos, ciders and spritzed varieties in 0.33 l to specialties such as apple secco.
