Beatrix Swanson

Beatrix Swanson is a cider writer and enthusiast who was raised in Germany’s Apfelwein country and now lives in the wild west of England. A member of the British Guild of Beer Writers, she regularly contributes to Cider Review and judges cider competitions around the world. Her work draws on a broad background in food and whisky writing and publishing, as well as the analytical rigor of her day job as a global health researcher. A third-culture kid and champion of cider’s global diversity, she’s happiest when traveling in search of new and delicious drinks.
